- The parish church of Sankt Albanus und Leonhardus in Kerpen-Manheim was built in 1898-1900 in neogothic style, designed by Franz Statz. The church replaced an older building, dating back to the end of the 14th century. The pipe organ was built by the company Seifert from Kevelaer. It is a newer organ, maybe installed around 1966, when the church interior was renovated.
- During a last service on May 18, 2019, the church was de-consecrated. The church will be demolished at last in 2022, because the village has to be removed from the spot for mining works. There will be a new village Manheim-Neu with a new smaller church. There is no room for the large organ in this new church. Important other parts of the furniture of the old church will be transferd to the new building.
- The organ was sold to the parish of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux in the north of France. They have plans to install the organ in the Église Saint-Martin, or use material of the organ to enlarge their existing instrument.
