In the suburb Croydon of Sydney Saint James' Church was build in 1883. The architect who designed the building was Edmund Blacket. In 1891 the transept and chancel were build. In 1893 James Conacher from Huddersfield, UK, build a pipe organ for the church. The organ has never been changed since the inauguration. An electric blower has been installed, but the hand pump installation also is still in working order.
