Voor de Jacobikirche in Prenzlau bouwde Friedrich Kaltschmidt in 1852 een tweeklaviers orgel met twintig registers. In 1938 is het instrument verbouwd. Het kerkgebouw brandde op 27 april 1945 volledig uit, waardoor het orgel verloren is gegaan.
