- In 1979, a second-hand organ was bought for the Église Saint-Lambert in Seraing-Val-Saint-Lambert, from a closed monastery chapel in Bruges. The existing pipe organ had been decommissioned in Val-Saint-Lambert a few years earlier. This organ was rebuilt by Delmotte after damage suffered in the Second World War, but was no longer satisfactory. The organ from Bruges was built by Aimé Hooghuys around 1890. It was transferred by André Thomas in collaboration with Emmanuel Mahaux. The instrument had eight registers and no pedal.
- The specification was altered by Thomas: the Montre 8' was replaced by a Doublette 2', the Voix Céleste by a Bourdon 8', on the slide of the original Bourdon 8' a Flûte Conique 2' was placed, and finally a Basson-Hautbois on the original Doublette slide. The Bourdon 8' and the Flûte Conique 2' were taken from the old pipe organ of the church, the Flûte from the Tierce, the Basson-Hautbois came from the organ maker's stock. The original Bourdon 8' of the organ was an extension of the Flûte 4', only the large octave was present.
- On May 10, 1980, the organ was dedicated in Val-Saint-Lambert. Anne Froidebise provided the inauguration concert. The organ is placed on the church floor, on the south side of the choir. The old organ in the attic of the organ was sold in 1984 to Emmanuel Mahaux, who used parts to build an organ in his home.
