- The organ in the parish church of Machelen was built in its original form by Corneille Cacheux in 1730. It was enlarged around 1785 by Lambertus-Benoit Van Peteghem. In 1850 Leonard Lovaert rebuilt the organ, with a new front installed. After this, the instrument was worked on by Camille and Auguste Delmulle in 1873. They installed a new bellows.
- The organ was modernized in 1906-1907 by the Joris company from Leuven. A number of old stops were replaced by romantic registers, such as a Salicional and a Voix Céleste. In 1960-1961 the instrument was restored by Jos under the advice of Berten De Keyzer. Loncke & Zn. They restored the disposition. An independent pedal was created with two ranks by Joris.
