The organ contains older material: from 1829 by Gebrüder Weil
The Sankt Lubentiuskirche in Kobern was built in the years 1827-1828. Christian Weil built an organ for the church in 1829. The instrument was modified in 1929 and 1972 (new construction by Hugo Mayer using organ case and some pipe work under the advice of Heinz Anton Höhnen). In 2003, the Hugo Mayer company carried out a restoration.
