In 2014, the Rensch Orgelbau company built a new organ for the Philipp-Nicolai-Kirche in Altwildungen. The instrument has seventeen stops, five of which can be used on both manuals by a special slide construction. On December 21, 2014, the organ was put into use. It was played on this occasion by Ulrike Tetzer and Uwe Maibaum.
