  • In 1850, Jean-Baptiste Laussedat built an organ for the chapel of the Institute Sainte-Alyre in Clermont-Ferrand. The organ was placed entirely in a swell box. In 1898, Charles Michel-Merklin expanded the organ. In 1978 it was restored by Hubert Lancia and Georges Valentin.
  • The organ was demolished in 1992 and replaced by a new organ designed by Henri Saby.
