- The organ of the Church of the Ascension in Westmount was built in 1929 by the Casavant Frères firm. The organ case was designed in collaboration with E.J. Turcotte, the architect who also designed the church building. The organ was dedicated on January 13, 1930. Lynwood Farnham played the inaugural concert.
- In the years 1972-1981 and 1989 the organ was restored by Casavant. A major renovation has been carried out by Les Orgues Baumgarten in 2006-2011. The Casavant company renovated the gaming table in 2020-2021.
