In 1722-1724 Johann Niklas Cahman built an organ for the church of Leksand. In 1895 it was transferred unchanged to the church of Djura by Pilt Per Olsson. In 1930 a new pneumatic organ was built in Cahman's organ case. What was left of the organ from 1724 was finally stored in 1966 in the Music History Museum in Stockholm. In 1979-1980 Åkerman & Lund built a new organ for Djura Kapell. It was made after the example of the Cahman organ. The original organ case was now also placed in the museum in Stockholm. The new organ has 17 stops on two manuals and pedal.
