- In 1968/1969 the company Frobenius built a new organ for the Sct. Nicolai Kirke in Vejle. During construction, the organ case of the old organ was reused, but in a simplified form. This case was manufactured in 1862 by Marcussen & Søn. In 1910 the organ was expanded by A.C. Zachariasen. Renovations followed in 1925 and 1942 by Frobenius, after which the organ had three manuals and a pedal with 41 stops.
- The old interior was demolished in 1968. The organ case is placed more to backwards. Much of the decoration has been removed. In 1993 Frobenius carried out a restoration, during which the stops were revoiced.
