1977 Oberlinger Orgelbau  new organ in old case

In 1833 a new organ was built by Franz Ignaz Seuffert for the Sankt Georgkirche in Rhodt unter Rietburg in the Pfalz. It was a two-manual organ with 28 registers. It was renovated in 1863 by Carl Wagner in connection with an enlargement of the organ gallery. In 1909 Walcker built a new three-manual organ with 24 stops in the old case. When the church was restored in 1962, Walcker's organ fell into disgrace with organ consultant Adolf Graf, and the instrument was eventually demolished. The organ case was used by Oberlinger in the construction of a new organ for the Sankt Pankratiuskirche in Odenthal, which was dedicated in 1977. This is a two-manual organ with 23 registers, mechanical key and electric register action.
