Het orgel in de kerk van Saint John Baptist in Hoxton is in 1834 gebouwd door G. & H. Buckwell. In 1881 werd door Thomas Jones gereviseerd. In 1915 volgde een echter ombouw, eveneens door Jones, die het orgel verplaatst van de westzijde naar de zuidzijde van de kerk. De firma Speechly & Sons herbouwde het instrument in 1932. Het werd hierbij uitgebreid, onder meer met pijpwerk van het Robson-orgel uit de Church of Saint Stephen in Spitalfields.
