The organ in the Albanuskirche in Schkeuditz was built in 1900 by Wilhelm Rühlmann. It replaced an instrument with 24 stops by Karl von Knoblauch from 1818. The Rühlmann organ was restored and converted by the Eule company in 1941. The disposition was radically changed, to get a more baroque specification. Advisor on the work was Günther Ramin, cantor-organist of the Thomaskirche in Leipzig. Eule also installed a new console and changed the pneumatic action to electropneumatics. In the 1970s the Gothic organ case was removed by the Kühn company from Merseburg. The Voigt company carried out a restoration in 1997. The disposition from 1941 has not been altered.
