- Karl-Joseph Riepp built an organ in 1756/1757 for the Benedictine abbey church in Lure. The organ was renovated around 1790 by Dom Antoine Geiger. Gabriel-Ignace Ritter constructed a beautiful new organ case. However, the monastery was already closed in 1794, after which the organ was transferred to the Église Saint-Martin in Lure by Jean Richard.
- In 1890 the organ was modernized by Joseph Mutin. The Positif de Dos was emptied (except for the prospect pipes) and the specification was modified according to the ideas of this time. Several pneumatic transmissions were also installed.
- In 1985 the organ was restored by Jean-François Muno. The Positif has been reconstructed and the stop list has been returned to the thought to be original. In 2004, Antoine Bois carried out an overhaul.
