In 1810 Jean-Baptiste Carlen built a new organ for the collegiate church in Sion. The interior was replaced in 1902 by a new organ with pneumatic cone chests, built by Carl Theodor Kuhn. This organ had sixteen stops. In 1983, Hans Füglister carried out a restoration. He reconstructed the instrument with mechanical action and slider chests.
