- The Hanoverian organ builder Christian Vater built an organ in the monastery church Marienrode by Hildesheim in 1752. This organ underwent an extensive renovation in 1888 by the Hildesheim organ builder August Schaper. This included the removal of the original Brustwerk, the construction of the Oberwerk, located behind the Hauptwerk, on the old wind chest of the Hauptwerk and the construction of a new wind chest for the Hauptwerk. Numerous pipes and the pedal chest were re-used.
- In the years 1982 - 1985 Martin Hillebrand carried out reparations. In 2005-2006, cleaning, repair, replacement of the zinc prospect pipes and static securing of the pedal towers were carried out by the companu Gebr. Hillebrand.
