Built by: Michael Kreisz (2006) - opus 27
The Christus-König-Kirche in Welzheim was consecrated on September 15, 1957. The building was renovated in 2005-2006. Michael Kreisz was commissioned to build a pipe organ. Until then, an electronic organ had been in use. Magnus Heiter was consultant during the construction of the new organ. It was inaugurated on October 22, 2006 during a festive church service. At the end of the afternoon Stephan Beck played the inaugurational concert.
