Karl Schuster built a choir organ for the chapel of the Mutterhaus of the Congregation of the Barmherzigen Schwestern on the Nußbaumstraße in Munich in 1970. It had a manual with six stops and a Subbaß on the pedal. Because the chapel's main organ was in a bad condition, it was decided to decommision this instrument and enlarge the choir organ. Norbert Krieger expanded it with a second manual and a Dulcian 8' on the pedal in 1985.
In 2007 the Mutterhaus moved to another location. The organ was sold to the Sankt Floriankirche in Messestadt Riem. It was transferred to the new location by Christoph Kaps.
