Built by: Aristide Cavaillé-Coll (1875)
Aristide Cavaillé-Coll started in 1872 with the construction of an organ for the Basilique in Lourdes. The instrument was delivered in 1875 and was dedicated on September 6, 1875 with a concert by Charles-Marie Widor. The company Pesce carried out a restoration in 1964, in which a lot of original material was replaced or changed. The action was also radically modified. Xavier Silbermann reconstructed the organ in 1982/1983. André Isoir played the inauguration concert on March 25, 1983.
