In 1905, Joseph Mühlbauer built a new organ for the St. Peter and Paul church in Mittenwald with two manuals and pedal. The organ had twelve or thirteen stops. In 1960 a new three-manual organ was built by Zeilhuber with thirty stops, whereby the Mühlbauer pipework was reused. This organ was demolished in 1998 and replaced by a completely new organ by Bernhard Edskes.
