The Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Hassel was built in 1929. A second-hand organ was installed in 1949, originating from the Sankt Franziskuskirche in Sankt Ingbert. This was a twelve-register organ from around 1830. The instrument was demolished in 1969 and replaced by an electronic organ. In 1988 Wolfgang Scherpf built a new pipe organ with 23 stops.
