  • In 1859 Friedrich Schäfer built a small organ for the Johanneskirche in Michelwinnaden. The organ has eight stopt, divided over one manual and pedal. The action is mechanical, while the wind chests are cone chests. In 1891, Johann Baptist Schefold replaced the Traversflöte 4' with a Viola di Gamba 8'. The original front pipes were requisitioned in 1917, and were then replaced with new zinc pipes.
  • In 2001, Eduard Wiedenmann completed a thorough restoration. The organ was put back into use in February 2001. A fire broke out in the church on December 12, 2004, making the organ unplayable due to soot. The instrument was cleaned and overhauled by Eduard Wiedenmann in 2005.
