On Sunday October 1, 2006, the new organ of the Lukaskirche in Marburg could be dedicated. The church was a complete rebuilt of the old church, that was dedicated in 1997. During the dedicational service, the organ was played by Gerold Vorrath. The organ was built by Martin ter Haseborg.
