Built by: Gustav Schlimbach (1874)
Gustav Schlimbach built a two-manual organ in 1874 for the Sankt Engelbertkirche in Sankt Ingbert. The organ was built with mechanical action and cone chests. It replaced an organ from 1765. The original prospect pipes were removed in 1917. The stoplist was altered after the Second World War. At the Hauptwerk the Rohrflöte 4' was changed into a Quinte. On the Unterwerk the Principal 8' was replaced by a Cymbel and the Dolce 4' by a Svegel 2'. The Violon 8' of the Pedal was replaced by a Choralbaß 4'. During a restoration by Hugo Mayer in 1991, the original specification has been reconstructed.
