The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1776 by Ferdinand Stieffell
Ferdinand Stieffell built his first large organ for the parish church in Ettenheim in the years 1772-1776. The organ was repaired several times in the nineteenth century. In the years 1873-1875 a major renovation followed by Johann Heinrich Schaefer. In 1898 August Merklin expanded the organ. In 1917 the front pipes were requisitioned. Finally the curtain fell for the old interior when Friedrich Wilhelm Schwarz placed a new pneumatic organ in the old case in 1922. In the years 1971-1973 a new organ was built in the historical case by Peter Vier.
