In 1742, Johann Philipp Seuffert built a new organ for the abbey church in Münsterschwarzach. It was installed as a choir organ in this church. In 1809 the instrument was sold to the Evangelische Gemeinde in Lendershausen. The organ was converted in 1897. In 1950 Steinmeyer completed a new organ behind the old prospect.
