Built by: Weigle Orgelbau (1951) - opus 900
Under consultancy of Walter Lutz and Fritz Werner, the Friedrich Weigle company built a new organ in 1951 for the rebuilt Nikolaikirche in Heilbronn. The front was designed by Hannes Mayer. It was taken into use on September 2, 1951. In 1968 the organ was expanded with three registers on the Hauptwerk on a separate windchest. A tremulant was placed on the Schwellwerk. The organ was overhauled in 1991 by the company Mühleisen. An electric action for the registers was installedwith a setzer device with 64 combinations.
