1984 Eisenbarth Orgelbau  new organ in old case

  • Johann Philipp Seuffert built an organ for the Klosterkirche in Ebrach in 1743. After several modifications over time, the interior was completely replaced in 1902 by a pneumatic organ from Steinmeyer. Steinmeyer placed this behind the old facade. About 800 pipes were used from the old organ.
  • The Eisenbarth company rebuilt the instrument in 1984 according to Seuffert's original design. However, it was expanded with a Schwellwerk and a Bombardenwerk and three pedal registers.
