Built by: Tobias Dressel (1683)
In 1683 Tobias Dressel built an organ with one manual and independent pedal for the church in Selbitz. In 1691 he placed a Posaune on the pedal. It is not clear whether it was an 8-foot or a 16-foot. After renovations in 1726 and 1769, the organ was extensively renovated in 1783 by Friedrich Heidenreich. It became a two-manual organ. In 1837 a conversion by the Gebrüder Heidenreich followed, which resulted in the current stop list. In 1968 Gerhard Schmid carried out a restoration. A last restoration was in 2012-2013.
