- In 1861 the company Vollebregt built a new organ for the parish church in Middelharnis, dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. In 1960 it was decided to built a new, larger organ for this church. The old one was bought in 1962 by the cathedral church in Rotterdam. It was restored by L. Verschueren, with many original materials being replaced and modified.
- The cathedral church of Rotterdam was demolished in 1968, and the organ was sold to the Seifert company in Germany, partly on the advice of Marius Monnikendam. This company relocated the organ to the Kreuzherrenkirche in Düsseldorf, a church building that now belongs to the Sankt Ursula Gymnasium.
- The organ was restored in 1990 by Seifert under the advice of Franz-Josef Vogt. The console was moved from the back to the left side of the organ. An independent pedal has been installed with a Subbaß and a pedal coupler.
