Johann Georg Geib built the organ in the church of Fürfeld in the years 1779-1782. It was modified by Oberlinger in 1876, but not significantly. The trumpet of the Hauptwerk was replaced by a descant cornet and the reeds of the Positiv by a Salicional. In 1963 Oberlinger restored the organ. During this restoration, the original stop list has largely been restored. Unfortunately, a new keyboard was installed and all the mechanical parts were renewed. Förster & Nicolaus carried out an accurate reconstruction of Geib's original work in 2003.
