  • In 1756 Stephan Heeren delivered an organ to the Stadtkirche in Hofgeismar. The instrument had 12 stops. There were three empty slides on the manual chests, two on the pedal. In 1786 Stephan Heeren installed the missing stops during an overhaul of the organ.
  • The instrument has been overhauled and modified several times over time. In 1971, Karl Lötzerich restored the organ, expanding it into a two-manual free-pedal instrument with 23 stops.
