In 1912-1914 the Gebrüder Späth built an organ for the Sankt Magnuskirche in Rieden in Sankt Gallen. The front was designed by Adolf Gaudy. In 1948 the instrument was renovated by the Kuhn company. The console was rotated 180 degrees, and the disposition was altered. At the Hauptwerk they replaced the Gambe with an Oktave 2'. Five of the eight stops of the Schwellwerk were replaced by new stops. In 1979, Eugen Hauser replaced the Bombarde 16' of the pedal with a Choralbass 4'. A new Bombarde was installed by Späth Orgelbau in 1994. The same company carried out an overhaul in 2010.
