1998 B. Pels-D'Hondt160 restoration

The organ in the Sint Laurentius Church in Verrebroek was built in 1771 by Lambertus-Benoit Van Peteghem. It has been preserved in exceptionally good condition. In 1998 the Pels-D'Hondt company carried out a restoration. It turned out that one pipe was missing from the Cornet, but otherwise all of Van Peteghem's original work was present, including the three original bellows. A remarkable detail is that there is a hole next to the lectern, through which the organist can see the altar.
