2000 Mathis Orgelbau  restoration

An English church was founded in Davos in 1882. Ten years later, an organ was ordered at the firm Willis & Sons. It was inaugurated on February 19, 1893. The church building was sold in 1979 to the Frei Evangelische Gemeinde in Davos. The organ was now in poor condition. In 1980 it was refurbished by church members. It is a unique instrument in this region. In 2000 the organ was thoroughly restored by Mathis Orgelbau. It was put back into use on December 2, 2000. The instrument was then played by Christian Forrer from Chur.
