The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1773 by Johannes Weinmar
Hans Stehle reconstructed Johannes Weinmar's organ from 1773 in the Martinskirche in Wildberg. He expanded it with an Oberwerk and the disposition of the Manual was not completely adopted. Hans-Georg Seibt was the advisor for the work. Only the organ case remained of the original instrument. The rest had been replaced during renovations in 1859, 1891 and 1940. The renovated organ was inaugurated on October 17, 1976.
