The Sankt-Rochus-Kirche in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort is a special example of modern church architecture. The building was built in the years 1954/1955 to a design by Paul Schneider-Esleben. In 1981, the Brauns & Janeschitz-Kriegl architectural firm designed an organ facade that matches the building. The company Walcker built a two-manual organ behind this prospect. Construction consultants were Josef Zimmermann and Peter Konnertz. The instrument was dedicated on August 29, 1982.
