Built by: Manuel de Sá Couto (1800)
Manoel de Sá Couto built a new organ for the Cistercian monastery of Santa Maria in Bouro in 1799 and 1800. The instrument was completed on August 12, 1800. After the monastery was closed in 1834, the organ remained there unused for several years. In 1855 it was transferred to the church of Bom Jesus do Monte in Tenões near Braga. The Rodrigues brothers restored the instrument in 1972/1973. They expanded it with a second manual (Eco).
