In 1745 Johann Michael Stumm built a new organ for the Evangelische Pauluskirche in Kirchheimbolanden. The organ had three manuals and pedal. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played this organ in 1778. After several minor repairs and modifications, a complete rebuilt by the Steinmeyer company followed in 1936. The organ has also been expanded with a number of pedal stops. In 1966 the Oberlinger company restored the organ. They installed a new free-standing console.
