In 1816 the organ was installed in Tossens by Gerhard Janssen Schmid. Alfred Führer expanded the organ case in 1963 with a Rückpositiv and built a completely new instrument in the old case using old pipework. The Hauptwerk is built entirely with pipework from the eighteenth century, and the Flöte 4' of the Rückpositiv is also old.
