Thomas H. Harrison bouwde rond 1880 één van zijn grootste orgels voor de Saint Michael Church in Tenbury. In feite was het een ombouw en uitbreiding van een bestaand orgel, gebowud door Flight in 1856 voor Saint Michael's College. Dit orgel had veel schade opgelopen als gevolg van wateroverlast. Het instrument van Harrison vertoonde al snel verschillende technische problemen. Ongeveer tien jaar na de bouw werd de mechaniek dan ook geheel gerenoveerd door Henry Willis.
