- In 1763 Johann Theodor Gillmann built a new organ for the monastery church of Kornelimünster. The prospect was designed by Johann Josef Couven. It was one of the last pieces of work by him. The organ originally stood on a partition between the choir and the nave of the church. The oxal was broken down in 1895, after which the Müller brothers gave the organ a place on a gallery attached to the west wall.
- In 1913 Johannes Klais replaced the interior with a new organ with pneumatic tracture. After the Second World War, plans were made for the construction of a better interior fitting to the historic organ case. This was made in 1963 by the Stahlhut company. The old interior of Klais was sold and was given a place in the Sankt-Nikolauskirche in Aachen. The organ from 1770 of the Schloßkirche in Schleiden served as an example for the new interior. Herbert Voß, organist of the cathedral in Aachen, played the inaugurational concert of the organ on 8 December 1963.
