Built by: H.W. Breidenfeld & Söhne (1878)
In 1878 (Thömmes: 1870), the company Breidenfeld & Söhne built a one-manual organ for the Katharinakirche in Wallerfangen. It was expanded in 1883 by Dalstein & Haerpfer with a second manual (Schwellwerk), placed on a cone chest. In 1978-1979 the organ was restored by the company Haerpfer-Erman. They replaced the cone chest of the Schwellwerk with a slider chest, and expanded the disposition with two registers, a Terz on the Hauptwerk and a Sesquialtera on the Schwellwerk. In 1998 the organ was restored by Hugo Mayer. The pitch has been lowered from a' = 448 Hz to a' = 443 Hz on this occasion.
