- The organ in the church of Thimister was built in 1858 by Arnold Clerinx. The instrument has a typical stop list for Clerinx organs. Due to a special construction (the so-called 'brevet Clerinx') the stops of the Positif - except for the Flûte 4 '- also sound on the Grand Orgue. The pédale is permanently coupled to the Positif.
- In 1929, a restoration by Oscar Anneessens was carried out. A windblower was installed at this occasion. Léandre Vilain played the inauguration concert on June 23, 1929.
- In 1995 Thomas restored the organ and returned it to its original condition. He also made a new wind chest for the pédale with two independent stops. The existing link with the Positif has also been preserved. The consultant during the restoration, Patrick Wilwerth, played the organ during the inauguration on December 17, 1995.
