- A new choir organ was built in 1845 for Notre-Dame in Rennes. It has long been attributed to Pierre-Alexandre Ducroquet, but was probably built by Daublaine-Callinet. Major revisions were carried out a number of times in the nineteenth century: in 1857 by the company Merklin-Schütze, in 1871 by René Fiquémont and in 1880 by Jean-Baptiste Claus. Georges Claus worked on the organ in 1924. Finally, it was moved within the church by Othon Wolf in 1956.
- In 1994-1996 Yves Sévère carried out a restoration. The organ was overhauled by Yves Toussaint in 2012 and transferred to the Basilique Saint-Aubin, where it is placed as the main organ on the gallery on the west side of the church.
