- In 1977 the Oberlinger company built a three-manual organ in the historic organ case of Ludwig König from 1755 in the baroque Maximiliankirche in Düsseldorf. It was inaugurated on May 28, 1977. It replace an instrument with 41 stops, that was rebuilt by Walcker in 1934 (opus 2451) and again in 1960 (opus 4006).
- The organ of Oberlinger was offered for sale in 2010. In 2011 the organ was removed from the church. The firm Klais built a new instrument in the historic case, that was dedicated in 2012.
