  • The organ in the Valentinuskirche in Kiedrich is a very old instrument, which must have been made around 1500 in the first instance. It is one of the oldest organ in Germany. The prospect was painted by August Martin.
  • Johann Kirchner rebuilt the organ in 1652-1653. The current windchest of the Hauptwerk. He also made a Rückpositiv for the organ. In 1760 the organ case was painted white, and in 1808 it was painted again in red. Conrad Embach renovated the organ in 1839. Louis-Benoit Hooghuys restored it to its current state in 1860.
  • The Swiss company Kuhn restored the instrument in the years 1985-1987. The work is based on the condition of 1860. With some modifications: on the pedal the Violon 16' was replaced by a Mixtur, the Pedal - Hauptwerk coupler has been removed and the organ has been tuned in an unequal temperament. The organ case has also been restored and it is repainted in the original colors.
