  • In 1989 Johan Hupkes, living in De Steeg, bought a residence organ from a private person somewhere in the Achterhoek. It was rebuilt in 1992 by Klaas Haaijema and Adriaan van Rossem. Johan Hupkes died on July 1st, 2019, and his organ was donated to the Protestant Church in Ellecom. It was installed as a choir positive in the Nicolaaschurch by Klaas Haaijema and Adriaan van Rossem and inaugurated on November 3rd, 2019.
  • The wind chest of the organ is old, and was almost certain built by Hermanus Knipscheer. Also the Holpijp 8' and the Fluit 4' are from Knipscheer.
