- In 1962, the Reil firm built a new organ for the Christelijke Gereformeerde Kruiskerk in New Amsterdam. The building was inaugurated in 1955. The organ was put into use on November 9, 1962 with a concert by Martin Groenewold, organist in Hoogeveen.
- A last service was held on December 31, 2018, after which the church was closed and put up for sale. But the church has been demolished in 2022.
